AVS Audio Editor, a tool developed by Online Media Technologies, can be used for the following purposes: to record audio from a variety of sources, convert audio files from one format to another, load an audio file and edit it, extract audio from video files, and add settings and effects to a batch of audio files.

The minimum system requirements for running AVS Audio Editor are: 1500MHz processor or better, 512MB of RAM or more, sound card, DirectX 9.0c or newer, Windows operating system (anything from Windows XP onward). Download a 41.7MB executable, run it, and a simple setup wizard will show up and help you get AVS Audio Editor up and running on your system.

AVS Audio Editor uses a ribbon interface that can be customized – from the Options menu you can choose one of several color schemes and you can edit each color scheme individually. Underneath the ribbon, the application displays the audio file you loaded in waveform – you can switch from waveform to spectral or envelope if you want to.

If you don’t have an audio file to load into AVS Audio Editor, you can extract the audio from a video file, or you can record audio from any input. If you already have an audio file and you load it into the application, you can then convert it to another format or you can edit it. AVS Audio Editor’s editing capabilities include the following: cut, join, split, add effects and filters, reverb, amplify, fade in/out, and more. You have a variety of editing tools at your disposal and the nice thing is that you can easily access them all.

AVS Audio Editor is only free to try. The trial will put a voice log on the output.

Easily edit your audio files and more with the handy AVS Audio Editor tool.

Support for multiple languages is provided. AVS Audio Editor integrates with the right click context menu.
